The standards used to select, research, write, update, and correct Tech Choice Lab coverage.
Selection and sourcing
We choose topics based on reader usefulness, product relevance, and the evidence available. Sources can include current retailer listings, manufacturer documentation, manuals, and recurring public buyer concerns.
Claims and attribution
Manufacturer specifications and performance statements are identified as claims when they have not been independently measured. We do not invent ratings, awards, quotes, prices, discounts, stock, or first-person experience.
Corrections and updates
Material factual errors are corrected promptly. Articles show an updated date when meaningful information changes. Correction requests should include the article URL, disputed statement, and a reliable source.
